Simple Steps to Increase Traffic To Your Web Page

You’ve spent months building your first website, assuming that once it was done, people would ‘just find it’. Unfortunately that isn’t the case, you have to work to get traffic. Even as established online business owners down the road, we need more traffic and more visitors to continue to grow our web business. I use a very simple plan that gets me increased online traffic month after month and I would love to share that process with you today.

Step 1 – Keywords

Start with a bit of keyword research. Open the keyword tool of your choice (like the Google keywords tool or Wordtracker) and find some keywords that don’t have a lot of competition. Most often you will find those to be phrases that have at least 3 words in them. You want to pick one you can write an article about that’s helpful to the readers of your site. Let’s take a look at the next step.

Step 2 – Content Creation

Now it’s time to write the content. This will be a new post on your blog or a new page for your website. When you write your title, include the key phrase toward the beginning. The sooner the better. You will also use it as the anchor text to link to this new article in your site navigation. If you are using a blog or something like wordpress to manage the content of your site, the software will automatically take care of the internal link building.

I also like to use the keyword again in the first 100 words or so of my article. Depending on how long my content is, I may work it in one or two more times. It’s important not to over-stuff your article with the keyword and you also want to make sure it still reads well. Get the content on your website and let’s get working on the last step in this process.

Step 3 – Build Some Links

Our last step is to build a few links to this new piece of content that you have written around the keyword of your choice. Here are two important reasons why you want to do this sooner rather than later (or not at all). The first is that links connect all the various pages of the internet and search engines employ little programs called ‘spiders’ that will go out and crawl from one link to the next to find and index new content. To make sure your new post or page is found, you need to link to it, ideally from several different websites. Links are like votes . The more of these link votes your page gets, the higher it will rank in the search engines. That’s the second reason why we need to build links to our pages. Some ideas for building links are to use social bookmarking sites, link directories, write articles that include a link back to your site in the author resource or to write guest blog posts. These are just a few ideas to get you started. I invite you to learn more about link building at www.EasyLinkLove.com/adv

That’s it … now it’s simply a matter of finding more easy to rank for keywords, write good content and add it to your site and then continue to build links on a regular basis until you are ranking on page one of the search engines for the keyword you are after. You’ll be amazed at the increase of traffic you will see after doing this for just a few weeks.

How to Generate Web Traffic

So you’re the cyber entrepreneur: you have the product(s) or the idea. Then you have your nifty website displaying your “goods”. Then there’s the web traffic that come and check your cyberspace. You see your statistics on the number of visitors you have had in a day or week. But you ask yourself, could I have more? What do I have to do to get my targeted traffic?

The concept of web traffic will help you figure this out. Web traffic is basically the number of visitors and the number of pages they visit. Monitoring your incoming and outgoing traffic is an important statistical tool. Call it geeky but it’s all about the marketing of your site. The quality of your web traffic can be determined by the number of visits and the amount of time each visitor spends on a particular page. A trend can be derived from the mostly viewed topics/ pages and strategies can be drawn from those information.

The most popular solution to increase web traffic is by placing a site in search engines and purchase of advertising. That includes bulk e-mail, pop-up ads, and in-page advertisements. Another solution can be by marketing through non-internet based advertising. These methods are a bit tedious and costly. As a website owner, it will require your undivided attention. You will have ways to strategize on how to optimize your web traffic. If your web page is not listed in the first pages of any search, the odds of someone finding it decreases greatly. Competition is fierce and very few people go past the first page. So getting proper placement on search engines is very important.

Some internet guru then introduced viral traffic. Like a biological virus, it is spread from a carrier to another person. Basically, your existing website visitors, customers or subscribers refer other folks to your website. It can also be when another webmaster sends traffic to your site. This is considered the best way to get traffic since you get your inflow of visitors and you let others do the work for you. Your surge of visitors exponentially increases. Viral advertising can be in the form of free email services, free greeting cards, and e-books, just to name a few.

Whatever works for you, you still have to weigh your options. Some sites use something like a “refer a friend script” on their site. They also include some kind of free assistance like a Search Engine Submission page. It is on that page they suggest you either refer it to a friend or link back to them. Take five; check out what options are available for you and select which one suit your web traffic needs.

Evaluate your web traffic needs. Likewise consider where your targeted traffic is coming from and where you think they could be sourced out some more. Whilst viral traffic is getting popular among website owners/ managers, they still have options to weigh as viral advertising come in numerous forms. There is one that is bound to suit their web traffic needs.

Getting Massive Amounts of Targeted Traffic to CPA Offers

Traffic is the lifeblood of any site, without traffic the website may just as well not exist. When it comes to CPA offers, since the majority of the offers are for US citizens, we want to change that statement and say that without US traffic, your website might as wel not exist. Even if you already have thousands of visitors, you arenot about to make any money unless a massive proportion of that’s from the US.

Now there are three main tactics to force traffic to your internetsite ; organic search website traffic, paid traffic and visitors from your e-mail list.

Search website Traffic

Many mavens call this ‘free’ traffic, but unless you place zero worth on your time, this is not the case in any way. If you outsource the S.E.O work then it’s actually not free traffic. Furthermore, once your website is ranked well, you need to keep on with the SEO work to maintain the position.

With that said, organic S.E.O remains one of the most cost effective techniques to driving traffic to your business and should make up a serious part of your long-term plans for your CPA websites. If your budget is tight, then organic SEO may be the sole option available to you, in which case you will need to invest lots of time to push traffic from the search websites.

Paid Traffic

Paid traffic can come in numerous different forms and youhave got a huge spread of places to go to get it. At the front line of most Internet marketers mind is AdWords, which is good for you because they frequently donot think about other networks.

Yahoo and MSN / Bing, for example both have millions of searches every single day but the cost per visitor is seriously less than on Google. Not only that, but Yahoo and MSN / Bing are alleged to have a way higher proportion of consumer searches compared to Google, which is predominantly research based.

You also have other alternatives like Facebook and MySpace advertising. The amazing thing about these networks is that you can target particular demographics ranging from gender, age, location and even interests! You have probably seen ads on Facebook that are uncannily correct such as Free USB drive for all 34 year olds, don’t be fooled, they’re just using Facebook’s demographic targeting, but many folks won’t know this and think an offer is coincidently tailored for them.
